Last night marked the first (hopefully annual) Barcamp at the Moose Lodge in Doylestown. Working with a team of talented, bright and highly motivated thought leaders, I participated in the planning of this first “unconference” in the area. What a turnout! I had the pleasure of running the check-in table so I had the opportunity to meet each of the 125+ attendees in person. My topic, social media strategy, was chosen by popular vote for presentation… I decided to fly without notes or slides for this one given the spirit of the “unconference” format. Despite a very noisy room with many animated discussions, I hope I provided some value for my audience. I focused on Forrester’s POST approach to social media strategy (nod to my childhood neighbor Josh Bernoff) as I firmly believe it is a solid approach for businesses of all shapes and sizes. If you were there, I’d appreciate any and all feedback.
